Decision runner

Every open decision in one list. Short sentences. Each card says what I need from you — a letter, a value, or a click. Answer in chat in any order. Recommended options are marked REC.

Type a value — these unblock the most

1Alert credentials TYPE IT

Prod has no pager. If the server dies at night, nobody knows. Everything else is scripted and ready.

Need: a Telegram bot token + chat id, and a Healthchecks.io ping URL. Ten minutes on your phone: talk to @BotFather, then healthchecks.io → new check → copy URL.

2Sukoon insurance values TYPE IT

The claims console cannot work. The underwriter config on prod is empty. 31 paying members have no policy number. Zero claims can be filed.

Need: the FNOL email address, the claims contact phone, and the CBUAE licence number from Sukoon. If you do not have them yet, say "ask Sukoon" and I will draft the email for you to send.

Pick a letter — product decisions

3Pause case PICK

The Pause button did nothing but said it worked. I removed it. Do you want a real pause feature?

A — Build real pause: case goes on hold, member sees an honest message, ops gets an unpause button.

B REC — Leave it removed. Ops never needed it. Escalate-to-ops covers the "wait" case.

4The case map PICK

The map on the case screen was a fake drawing. It is now an honest panel: coordinates, accuracy, age, and a link to the field map.

A — Keep the honest panel. No map picture.

B REC — Add a real map tile later, when we buy Mapbox (it is already on the infra list). Honest panel until then.

5Priors: who restores insurance eligibility? PICK

A member who discloses a prior case is blocked from insurance. Approving their identity does NOT unblock it. Today nothing can unblock it. This is underwriting policy — it affects Sukoon.

A REC — Add an explicit ops control: "Accept disclosed history" / "Refuse" on the review screen. Approving identity alone never restores eligibility.

B — Approving identity also restores eligibility automatically.

C — Priors members stay ineligible forever, full stop. State it in the app copy.

6Declined members — the dead end PICK

When ops declines a verification, the member vanishes from every list. The promised "founder review" does not exist. The member sits in limbo forever unless we edit the database.

A REC — Build a small "paused for review" roster page + a reopen button. One day of work.

B — Decline is final. Change all copy to say so. Refund flows handle the money.

7Case-chat desk: what does the inbox show? PICK

Today a conversation disappears from the desk the moment you read it. The screen copy promises the opposite.

A REC — Show all conversations, newest first, with an unread badge. (Wave 2 builds this unless you veto.)

B — Keep unread-only, but fix the copy to say so.

8Pre-arm countdown after force-kill PICK

If the app is killed while armed, the countdown resumes on relaunch — even 40 minutes later. It then sends help. This is deadman-correct but can surprise. Standing question since 11 Aug.

A REC — No cap. An armed member who never stood down gets help. Formal ruling, done.

B — Cap it (say 10 minutes). After that, relaunch shows "your countdown lapsed" instead of sending.

9Sign in with Apple / Google at launch PICK

Login today is email OTP only. Apple/Google sign-in is built-ready but not wired. Standing question.

A — Ship at launch.

B REC — OTP only at launch. Add later. Less surface before launch.

10Celebration animation PICK

The "you are protected" moment after payment. Three candidates on the board: ela-arrival-celebration-r2.pages.dev.

B1 REC — Mass.  B2 — Atmosphere.  B3 — Signal.

11Legal education gaps — accept or build? PICK

Two known gaps: a member with mic permission can record without ever seeing the honesty sheet; and we keep no record that a member saw the legal education. Copy itself is signed off.

A — Accept both as-is for launch. Counsel reviews the whole posture anyway (Q7).

B REC — Small build: show the sheet on first record regardless of permission state, and store a server-side "seen it" timestamp. Half a day.

Three-minute tasks

12R2 offsite backups CLICK

Backups still live on the same server they protect. Box loss = database loss. Blocked on one dashboard click only.

Need: at dash.cloudflare.com → R2: click Enable R2, then create an API token (Object Read & Write, bucket ela-db-backups) and paste it to me. Everything downstream is scripted.

13Safari voice playback CLICK

One manual check curl cannot do: play one voice note in Safari and Chrome on your Mac.

Need: follow docs/qa/voice-drill-2026-08-16/safari-range-manual-step.md, tell me pass or fail.

14Stakeholder message templates REVIEW

All 43 automated messages, current vs proposed, on one board: ela-comms-templates-1aa814.pages.dev. The raw-code-in-email defect you found is fixed in the proposals.

Need: reply with edits, or "approve all proposals", or approve by card number.

15Counsel review (§16-Q7) NAME

The recording-law posture needs a real lawyer before launch. This is the last legal gate.

Need: a name (who reviews) and a rough date. I will prepare the full evidence pack for them.
